Course Description

The CPR+AED course is a 4-hour course comprising of the Adult CPR and the use of the automated external defibrillator modules. This course is designed to provide participants with the essential practical skills to perform correct and effective CPR as well to learn the use of the defibrillator, using proper techniques and watch for precautions, to shock the casualty’s heart back to normal heart rhythm. These explain the importance of CPR and AED to increase the chance of survival for a casualty collapsed. Participants will be trained only by certified instructors.

Course Objectives:

This course will be conducted in English and all study materials and equipment will be provided. Participants will be taught both theoretical and practical components of the following topics:

1) Introduction to CPR and AED
2) Adult one-rescuer CPR
3) Proper management of the AED

Course Duration:

This is a 4-hour course (including breaks, tests and assessments) conducted either in the morning or afternoon.
